15+ Items for a Chic Outdoor Living Space

Summer is nearly here — encouraging more time and occasions to enjoy the outdoors. Since settling into our new home last year, we’ve dedicated a few weekends to revitalizing our lawn and rooftop with handful of planters and such. While we may not have a ton of outdoor space in the city, it’s enjoyable to utilize whatever we do have!

Do you have a furniture set, or outdoor pieces, you particularly love? I’m personally on the search for furniture to go on our rooftop. This matte black “Breton” furniture collection at CB2 has been catching my eye the past few seasons — while I saw a very similar patio collection at Target recently. I’d also love to find a black and white striped outdoor umbrella to provide some shade from the sun. (These umbrellas by Pottery Barn and Ballard Designs look to be great options.)

But really, you don’t need much to enjoy whatever outdoor space you have. Some of the best summertime moments have simply been on a beach towel enjoying a good book or music.
