Resort Wear

Are any of you traveling somewhere warm soon? (If so, I’d love to hear where you’re visiting!) Because winter in the midwest seems to drag on through February and March, I’m thinking warm thoughts. These pieces I love now as resort wear on vacation, or stowed away for when summer decides to arrive 🙂
Pink Stitch Resort Maxi Dress: Last summer, I lived in this coral dress (in “Candy”), and received the magenta version as a birthday gift this year. The dress is equally wearable as a cover-up during the day or dressed up for going out at night. (See additional colors here!)
Julie Vos Gold Coin Necklace: I tend to wear simple stud earrings for everyday, so I love this gold statement necklace — which looks luxe and a touch exotic, without trying too hard.
Tory Burch Sandals: A pair of classic sandals are a “must-have” item for any warm weather vacation. I love these because they can transition from the pool or beach to time spent in town.
Kendra Scott Earrings: I’ve had my eye on this pretty pair of earrings… plus, white always looks great with a tan!
Longchamp Tote: A stylish and functional carry-all bag that can hold all the essentials, plus a beach towel. (Check out additional colors here.)
Kate Somerville Self-Tanning Towelettes: Perfect for achieving a healthy glow on-the-go and for air travel, when you can’t pack a full size self-tanner.
Emilio Pucci Scarf: A classic, versatile piece you’ll wear for years. Can be tied as a head scarf or hair ribbon, or even tied to your handbag for added color, pattern, and interest.

  • Our favorite dinner party yet. ✨

I envisioned a classic, clean, and elegant look for our celebration. Dramatic long tables were illuminated by tall taper candles. A mix of monobotanical and garden style floral arrangements were placed for guests to enjoy. Oh, and the food! We served traditional southern fare 🍴 and plenty of spirits 🍸
