Good morning! I hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend ahead. I’m looking forward to getting our Christmas tree today and dressing it up with lights and ornaments. I can’t believe Christmas is only a few weeks away!
Also this weekend, I’m planning to try a new recipe for a green smoothie. I absolutely love smoothies for breakfast (or anytime really), and especially this time of year, when our diets can lack fresh fruits and veggies. This recipe from Rachel looks so refreshing and easy, I think it’ll stay in my morning routine.
• 1 cup ice
• 1/2 cup blueberries
• 1 banana
• 2 cups fresh spinach
• 1/3 cup greek yogurt
• 1/2 cup orange juice
Combine ice, blueberries, banana, spinach, yogurt and orange juice in a high-speed blender and mix until completely blended. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
