Society for Contemporary Art at Marc Jacobs

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of joining the Society for Contemporary Art at Marc Jacobs. The event was held as a kickoff to the Society’s formal fundraiser in 2014. Through its 70+ year history, the Society has helped acquire works fundamental to today’s collection at The Art Institute in Chicago. If you find yourself in the Windy City, a visit to the Art Institute is a must!
Marc Jacobs opened its doors to host the event, where it was so fun to browse the latest collection. My friend Sara and I especially loved trying items from Marc Jacobs Beauty, like this pretty eyeshadow palette and these fun lip glosses. Thank you to the Society, Marc Jacobs and my friend, Anastasia, for hosting such a wonderful event!

  • #ad No matter my age: the holiday season always feels magical. Each year, I enjoy keeping holiday traditions and embracing new ones. 🖤 With our baby arriving now only weeks away: we’re about to embark on an entirely new adventure — and I’m so excited that this will be our first holiday season with him. Because Thanksgiving falls within two weeks of my due date, I’m thankful my immediate family is traveling to us in Chicago to celebrate this year. Which means: this is the first time I’m “hosting” the holiday! (With plenty of help, of course.) 🦃 With hosting in mind — and being 38 weeks pregnant — I wanted to plan ahead as much as possible. My hope is to create a setting that will feel festive for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I went with a rustic winter look that I absolutely love for the season. I’m thrilled to be partnering with a favorite brand of mine @CrateandBarrel to prepare for the holidays this year.
