8 Rosé Wines to Try

posted on: Friday, August 18, 2017

It seems the last summer or two, rosé wine has been making a major comeback. (The saying #yeswayrosé is everywhere these days!) On first glance, don't let its pink color fool you — the majority of rosé wines are not sweet; rather they fall within the "dry" category. The perfect rosé is light, crisp, and pairs well across a variety of foods. It's a great choice for a summer picnic, backyard BBQ, or dinner with friends! It’s often a fairly affordable wine, so there are a number of good options you can find without breaking the bank. Here's a sampling of most-loved rosé wines I feel are worth a try:

Whispering Angel ($20): The palest of pale rosés, tastes clean and fresh of light summer fruits.
White Girl Rose ($14): A fun and cheeky wine blend you may have seen all over Instagram.
Lorenza ($19): Pale pink, bright and crisp with light flavors of citrus and berries.
Miraval ($24): Concentrated flavors of dried red berry, tangerine and melon.
Triennes ($15): A nice pale pink rosé, crisp and dry finish.
Aix ($17): Bright pale pink with aromas of soft, ripe summer fruit.
Sofia ($14): Deeper in color, tasting of flavorful strawberry and raspberry.
La Ferme Julien ($6): Light and crisp, a standard and affordable favorite from Trader Joe's.

Are you a fan of rosé? If you have any favorites, I'd love to hear!
