Summer Berry Cocktail

Cheers to Friday! With summer winding down, I’m keeping tabs on my summer fun list and trying to make the most of each sunny day. This week, I hit the Museum of Contemporary Art. If you’re local to Chicago: I recommend going on Tuesdays, when admission is free and there’s live music on the terrace. I made these cocktails at home before heading to the museum, which are perfect for summer sipping. Light and refreshing, using seasonal berries — and easy to serve for friends.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 cup strawberries
• 1 cup raspberries
• 1 cup blueberries
• fresh mint leaves
• agave, to taste
• 1 cup clear rum
• 1 cup of ice
• 2 cups raspberry lemonade
DIRECTIONS
Place berries, mint and agave in a cocktail shaker. Muddle mixture with the end of a wooden spoon. Add rum and ice, then shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Pour into serving pitcher, or divide the mixture directly among individual cocktail glasses. Top with with lemonade and stir. Garnish with remaining berries and mint. Enjoy!
