I hope you have a great weekend ahead! The next few days will be fun ones for me, with celebrating a wedding for friends today in Chicago, and tomorrow, our baby shower for my sister-in-law! Lots of good things to celebrate :) I hope you have a great rest of your day — thank you for reading this week!

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing four beauty favorites I'm loving lately. I'd love to hear yours, as well!
1.) Tory Burch Lipstick Case: I admit, my purse does not always stay the most organized. With little cases like this, I can keep track of what's inside. (FYI, the case is now on sale!)
2.) YSL Lipstick: Some of you have asked about this one, so I'm happy to share! This is hands-down my favorite lipstick: Pink in Devotion by YSL. It's a little pricey, but the color and formula is truly quality — this one is in the occasional "splurge" category for me.
3.) Viva la Juicy "Noir" Fragrance: This original has been my signature fragrance over the years, so "Noir" is a nice update. It smells like wild berries, vanilla, and sandalwood. Heavenly.

Today I'm excited to share a simple, 5-step DIY project I completed this weekend: repurposing an old candle into a pretty little vase. It's a fun way to give new life to your favorite candles, recycling and reusing them as decorative containers. (My favorites to re-use are Diptyque, like this 'Baies' scented candle seen here, as well as Jo Malone candles.) Once cleaned, the glass containers transform into beautiful little flower bud vases. You could also display them on your desk to hold pens and office supplies, or in your bathroom to store cotton swaps or lipstick. The DIY is so easy you'll never want to throw these babies away! Here's my 5-step guide:
STEP 1: Burn candle until wax is completely melted. Blow candle out and let it cool for 5 minutes.
STEP 2: Place candle into your freezer for 45-60 minutes.
STEP 3: Remove candle from freezer. With a spoon, gently chip away the wax from the bottom of the glass.
STEP 4: Discard all wax from the glass.
STEP 5: Clean glass with paper towel and your favorite cleaner.

Yesterday was the perfect day for a walk through the park. The sun was shining, birds were chirping, flowers were blooming... it's days like those (especially in the Midwest) that make you want to get outdoors and take it all in! In the warmer months of the year, I love taking my workouts outdoors, whether it's in Lincoln Park or along the lake shore path. For me, Spring is always a good time of year to set a consistent fitness routine. And with a few new pieces of activewear, getting in shape is a bit more fun, isn't it? ;) The right activewear can help you feel motivated and get in gear. As you can guess, I love wearing bright colors, like these Nikes and pink capri leggings. I'm also a new fan of Cory Vines, a collection of high-quality basics that easily mix-and-match with activewear I already own.
Do you have any fitness goals for 2014? I'd love to hear!

As the Cannes Film Festival is currently taking place, I couldn't help but share a few photos of the charming French Riviera destination. While it's not always possible to travel as much as we'd like, it's always fun to browse photos, discover new locales, and imagine a getaway, don't you think? I hope you enjoy!
